Vitality Lacrosse works hard to bring you the best coaches in the game. Listed below are some of our current and previous coaches.
Joe Romano -
Providing a professional coaches skills and talents
Romano
coached the Professional NLL San Jose Stealth and MLL San Francisco
Dragons. Joe is the former Head Coach at Division II NDNU. At NDNU, he posted a career record of 39 and 13, guiding the team to national recognition during his tenure there achieving a national ranking of 7th.Prior to that he was an assistant coach at Whittier College
(CA) from 2001 - 2002, under, then Head Coach, Doug Locker as the team
became the first California NCAA program to reach the NCAA Playoffs.
A 2000 graduate of Whittier College, he played for four seasons serving as a team Captain. Romano is currently College Counselor at Bellarmine College Preparatory School in San Jose. He is a great resource for his vast lacrosse knowledge along with his experience with college recruitment.
Sean Lindsay - Adding instruction from one of the best in the game
Lindsay has been playing int he MLL since 2004 where he's
played for Rochester Rattlers(2004, 2005) as a 1st round draft pick and
2 year starter, Los Angeles Riptide(2006,2007) as a leading midfield
Scorer, MLL All Star & All MLL, San Francisco Dragons(2008),and
Denver Outlaws(2009 - Present).
Sean's played for the United State's National Team(2006-2008) and one of only 84 players selected to tryout for the US team in 2009.
Sean played at Syracuse University from 2000-2005 as a 4 year starter, NCAA final four('01, '02, '03, and '04), NCAA Finalist ('01, '02, '04), NCAA Champions ('02, '04), NCAA HM All American(2003), NCAA First Team All American(2004), NCAA All Tournament Team(2004), and Syracuse captain(2004).
Sean brings his top level talent and experience to everyone that will be at camp.
Sean's played for the United State's National Team(2006-2008) and one of only 84 players selected to tryout for the US team in 2009.

Dan Nourse - Bringing great passion and experience to everything he does.
Nourse currently coaches for the Cal Bears in California. He
brought the team to a 14-2 record in their 2009 season. His passion and
excitement for the game has brought him to play and coach at all levels
of the game. Dan had previously served as the offensive coordinator,
assistant head coach, and interim head coach for the golden bears.
Previous to his stint at Cal, Dan served as the head coach at Las Lomas
high school, assistant coach at Bucknell University, and president of
the Northern California Junior Lacrosse Association. Nourse is a
graduate of Bucknell University, where he was an all league performer
and team captain. There he played under legendary coach Sid Jamieson.
Dan contributes years of experience and his immense passion for the game to everything he's involved in.
Tony Smith - Working with the defense to ensure fewer goals against per game.
Returning for his second season with the Belmont Abbey Crusaders is Defensive Coordinator and Assistant Coach Tony Smith. In the spring of 2008, Smith’s first year with the team, the defense ended the season ranked 16th nationally.
In 2007 Smith was an Assistant Coach and helped with the defense at Wingate University. Wingate University finished the season with a win/loss record of 11-4. Wingate University won their second straight Deep South Conference regular season championship and their first Deep South Conference Tournament Championship.
Smith brings his defensive knowledge to camp to ensure every defender gets the attention in their field of expertise.
Jon Bongiorno
Coach Bongiorno joins the University of Oregon Ducks this year in a full time capacity after being with the team the for the last 5 fall-ball seasons. He’s been an assistant and head coach for the last 4 seasons with Marist High School in Eugene, OR. He began playing lacrosse at Middlesex school in Concord, MA in 1988. He brings 21 years of lacrosse experience to the table, and looks to provide positive energy and direction to the team.
D.J. Driscoll
Driscoll has made the USA team this year. He also has played for the Los Angeles Riptide and was selected for the MLL all-star game. He has become a serious defensive presence in the MLL with special recognition for his ability to snatch up ground balls. He also played at NCAA DI Notre Dame.
